About the Us

The US Study group is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization founded by Vietnamese students studying in the United States. From its first activities in the early of 1999, the group provided guidelines and direct personal helps to Vietnamese students who are seeking for study opportunities in the United States.
With the goal of providing a comprehensive assistance to Vietnamese students, the US Study group's work will complement the currently insufficient information sources about the U.S. education system, and thereby enhancing the students' admission possibility. In addition, the group aims to increase the competence of Vietnamese students among students from other countries in the world.
From personal contacts of each member, working closely with the U.S. Committee for Scientific Cooperation with Vietnam, the US Study group provides information on available financial aids/positions. Finally, the group also offers personal recommendation and reference to prospective students.

The US-Study group offers information and assistance to Vietnamese students in obtaining study opportunities in the U.S. universities and colleges.
The US-Study group is strongly committed to equality in opportunity without regard to age, sex and personal relationship. As a non-profit and volunteer-based group, the group is also committed to provision of free services without requesting any service or fee in return.
By setting up and operating a public forum directed to discussion and information exchange, we strive to associate people with the same purpose to help Vietnamese students achieving their academic goals.
WE’RE HERE TO HELP YOU ACHIEVE YOUR ACADEMIC GOAL !

In the coming time, we are going to:
  • Publicize the guidelines to students that may benefit from it,
  • Collect and distribute information on available and/or potential sources of financial aids and positions via the USGuide mailing list and our weekly newsletters,
  • Provide personal consultation and help to individual students in application process,
  • Introduce and appeal other Vietnamese students that are studying in the United States to introduce promised students to the departments and/or professors,
  • Invite other people to join the forum and volunteer to help Vietnamese students to apply, and
  • Encourage individuals and organizations with open financial aids and/or position to post the information on this forum.
